Festivus Addition
I now own a Nintendo DSi. I have Tetris Party Deluxe! I would also like Scribblenauts, I think. Any other games you guys think I'd like would be awesome gifts, too.

James Earl Jones provides Darth Vader's dialogue... from his other movies.
At least stay 'til Piano Man.

P.S. click on the picture to expand it, Blogger keeps shrinking it.

Geek Night Festivus
Monday, December 27th!
X will be back in town, so really it is a matter of whether Vlad can make and maybe we can get Darth on Skype even...since he doesn't show up for Star Wars night even though he makes fun of us when we miss it =P

T-minus 1.5 hours until Part 2 of Star Wars - The Naughty Banthas commences. When last we left our heros, they were trapped in a trash compactor in the secret Imperial factory.

Well that was a bust. If anyone wants to try this again let me know, but I'll be damned if I'm gonna organize it. In the meantime, here is Captain Sulu repeatedly calling an Arkansas School Board member a douchebag (for a very good reason).

Calandro lounged back in his chair, propping his feet up on the table.
"Look, I know we should be back at the ships in case there is trouble. But this cantina is only a few minutes from the landing bays, and I took the precaution of shortening the Flurry's startup sequence by a few minutes in case we do have to take off. I don't see what you are so worried about."
Torgoth let out a whuffing growl of discontent.
"Yeah well even if they do try contacting the ship I left D1K at the comm panel to answer" replied Cal "and gave him instructions to contact me if anything did pop up. He's been doing it every 5 minutes actually since we left, and I *have* been checking the messages he is leaving on my comlink."
The Wookiee shook his arms at that, nearly knocking a serving droid over into a nearby group of Gotals in miner's smocks.
"I have too been checking!.....it's just that I decided to take a half hour break is all" Cal replied defensively, taking a sip of his drink.
"It's not my fault he started bugging port control with inquiries afterwards."
Several nearby patrons jumped as Torgoth roared his reply. The Gotals paid their bill quickly, got up and left.
"Alright alright, calm down! We'll head back to the ship." Leaving a few coins on the table, Calandro stood up to leave. Tossing his empty drink container down the trash compactor chute, he turned to Torgoth as they exited the Miner's Canary Cantina "I mean how much trouble could they have gotten into out in the desert anyway?
"Oooh maybe we should move quicker. I see smoke coming out of that compactor, I think I may have jammed it."
